You can tell when things are made by hand, by a real person, and not by an algorithm. TexturePunk is my collection of design assets that I have held dear for decades. And for the first time ever, they are being released to the public. In this world of AI generated slop, I hope this collection can inspire other designers to hold true to their roots, to know that there are still people who splash paint on paper, drip ink onto cardboard, take photos of urban decay, and experiment with all sorts of visual mediums.
This collection is not for everyone. This isn’t a collection of clean vectors, AI generated images, or stock agency content. It is quite the opposite. The assets in my collection are dirty, messy, imperfect, and most importantly real. I’m not looking to connect and share with everyone, I’m looking to find the people who understand what I’ve dedicated my art and my life as a designer to.
The site is launching soon. As I type this, there are currently 2136 assets available and many, many more to come. And I won’t ever stop adding to the collection. So hang tight, it’s coming.
